Costa Brava is the northern coastline from the french border to Blanes, in the South. It is about 200 kilometers long. Thanks to its geographical characteristics, the rougher part of this coastline, for example Cap de Creus or the Massís de Montgrí, has resisted urbanistic speculation quite well. Nevertheless, the plainer coast has suffered intensely the urbanistic growth of the 60s and 70s. Fortunately, the coast line close to Sobrestany offers splendid beaches and a magnificent natural heritage park where you find small beaches with no buildings at all and very few visitors.
